* HISTORY: Orphaned at a young age, Sara's mother had murdered her father after being unable to take his abuse any longer. Since then, she was admitted into foster care and grew up going from one place to the other. Once graduated from Harvard as one of her batches' top scorer, she then proceeded to study for Masters at University Berkeley. Over there, she met Gil Grissom and had kept in contact over the years. When one of his CSIs had unfortunately been killed in the line of duty (Holly Gribbs), Sara was called over from the San Francisco crime lab by Grissom to Las Vegas.
* PERSONALITY: Sara is extremely sceptical about things that she cannot understand, and to deal with her emotions, she throws herself completely into her work. Determined and stubborn--a deadly combination--she'll go to great lengths to prove that she was right.
